Cataract

Cataract

Does your vision seem like it’s gradually worsening? Is it harder to see the things around you due to blurry or foggy vision? Does your vision seem like it’s gradually worsening? Is it harder to see the things around you due to blurry or foggy vision? These are some of the signs that you may have cataracts.

General Ophthalmology

The eyes are very complex. For this reason, many parts of the eye must work correctly for you to experience clear vision. At Azure Eye Center, our fellowship trained ophthalmologist has the experience and knowledge to treat a wide range of eye conditions so you can continue seeing your best!
Cornea

Cornea

The cornea is the transparent, dome-like structure at the front of your eye. Besides serving as a barrier to prevent dirt and other particles from entering your eye, it also acts as the window that allows light to enter your eye. Your cornea is partially responsible for refracting, or bending, the light that enters your eye to help it land directly on the retina, which is located at the back of your eye so you can see. In order to experience clear vision, the light must be able to pass through the cornea easily.
Glaucoma

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that causes damage to the optic nerve. The optic nerve is responsible for transmitting visual information from the eye to the brain. A healthy optic nerve is vital for clear and complete vision. When it becomes damaged, any vision loss, as a result, is permanent. In most glaucoma cases, damage to the optic nerve is caused by consistently high eye pressure. The most common type of glaucoma is called primary open-angle glaucoma.

LASIK

Laser vision correction procedures refer to procedures performed at Azure Eye Center, like LASIK and PRK. These procedures correct refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Refractive errors occur when light cannot refract or bend properly once it hits your eye because of the shape of your cornea or lens. As a result of this, it affects your ability to see clearly.
